A Dual Plate Check Valve (also called Double Door or Twin Disc Check Valve) is a non-return valve that prevents backflow in pipelines by using two spring-loaded half-discs (plates) hinged in the center. It’s compact, lightweight, and more energy-efficient than traditional swing check valves due to reduced pressure drop.
