A Dual Plate Check Valve (also known as a double door or wafer check valve) is a type of non-return valve designed to allow fluid flow in one direction and prevent backflow. It features two spring-loaded plates (or discs) that swing open when fluid flows forward and close tightly when flow reverses, protecting pumps, compressors, and pipelines from damage.
